Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

A Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Intern supports the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications and infrastructure. This role blends software engineering and IT operations to ensure systems run smoothly with minimal downtime.

Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability
Assist in troubleshooting production issues and outages
Support deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines
Write scripts to automate routine tasks (e.g., backups, monitoring)
Work with cloud platforms and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Help maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability
Document processes, incidents, and solutions

Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP)
Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (preferred)
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills
