About the role

A Cyber Security Intern at ZyrOps LLP⁠� assists the security and infrastructure team in protecting systems, applications, and networks from cyber threats. The intern works on monitoring security events, performing vulnerability assessments, supporting cloud and infrastructure security, and learning industry-standard security practices in a real-world environment.

The role is designed for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on exposure to cybersecurity operations, ethical hacking concepts, network security, and security automation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor systems and security alerts for suspicious activities
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Support firewall, endpoint, and cloud security configurations
  • Analyze logs and investigate potential security incidents
  • Help maintain security documentation and compliance records
  • Research emerging cyber threats, malware, and attack techniques
  • Participate in implementing security best practices across infrastructure
  • Assist DevOps/SRE teams in improving system security and reliability
  • Support incident response and remediation activities
  • Prepare reports on findings, risks, and mitigation recommendations 

Requirements
